Superman: From Cleveland to Krypton

(2017-2018).  Barrie Projects was engaged by the Cleveland Public Library to develop an exhibition around their extensive collection (4000 objects) of Superman memorabilia. The resulting 6000 sq. ft. exhibition explored the creation of the Superman character by two Cleveland teenagers–Jerry Siegel and Joe Schuster–in 1938 and the impact of their creation has had on pop culture for almost 80 years.
