Cleveland Public Library Puppet Exhibit

“The Wonderful World of Puppets: From Stage to Screen” opened March 23, 2019 at the Cleveland Public Library.  Barrie Projects managed the development of the exhibition.  The exhibition was organized as one of the events designed to mark the Library’s 150th anniversary.  More than 150 puppets dating from Punch and Judy to Oscar the Grouch were assembled from private and public collections for a year-long celebration of the history of puppetry.

Barrie Projects is serving as project manager for the Cleveland Public Library Puppet Exhibit.  The 6,000 sq. ft. show extensively covers the world of puppetry. Specifically, the exhibit focuses on the history, variety and artistry of puppet making and presentation.  Loans from leading puppet collectors and institutions comprise the core of the display. The exhibit will open in 2019.  The exhibition will be one of the events that mark the Cleveland Public Library’s 150th Anniversary.

Stay tuned from the Cleveland Public Library for exact dates and times for the show!
